Course ethos

The Graphic Design course at Grantham College is funamentally about developing young creatives knowledge, enabelling them to meet the requirements of the creative industry. Today, the creative industry requires learners to be adaptable, responsive, interactive and multidisiplinary in creative invention. The content of all the courses Grantham College & University Centre offers does this. Wether you are studying the Level 2 Graphic Design course, which will provide you with funamental knowledge in design and creative thinking. Perfect if you have little or no experience in design, or have never studied a creative course before. Or the Level 3 Graphic Design course, designed to develop prior knowledge and experience in design and introduce new ways of solving creative problems. Or the Level 4 & 5 Graphic Design programs, offering foundation degrees in Graphic Design which will prepare you for the creative industry, or for the final year in Graphic Design at another institution. Saving you the full expense of studying a full degree and moving away from home. However, from what you will learn on the Level 4 & 5 Graphic Design course, will fit you out with what is necessary skills, knowledge and experience you will require in order to start a career in the creative industry. The enviroment

Based in the Arts Centre at Grantham College, the Graphic Design course is situated in a creative and free thinking space for creatives to develop in a safe space. The Graphic Design department learners have access to a drawing studio for developing and dafting initial ideas. And the Mac Suite has industry standard equiptment and software to bring creative ideas to life.
